Under 21 Girls 24 v Dee-Caf Magic's 49

Dee-Caf claimed their first win in the development league with a solid win against a different look Under 21 side. Missing several regulars the Under 21's fielded a number of new faces in order for them to gain experience at a higher level. It was a second quarter run of 15-4 which virtually secured the win for Dee-Caf as Dan Hooper took his opportunities to score 19 points. Hooper, after some outstanding recent performances, could find himself in the Under 17 squad before too long. The final score of 49-24 was comfortable for Dee-Caf and they will now look to build on this performance in their next game against joint leaders RGF.

La Fraternelle All-Stars 74 v Richmond Worrier 18

The All-Stars kept their title hopes alive with a resounding win against Richmond Worriers in Wednesday's 2nd division clash. After a slow first quarter the All-Stars finally found their touch to leap out to a 28-8 half time lead. They surged on in the third and fourth quarters scoring numerous fast break lay-ups. The team scoring was spread throughout the All-Stars team with the only surprising statistic being that Liz Kerr failed to register a three-pointer. She did however lead all scorers with 15. Tom Creed had a good game for Richmond and was the only player to register double figures with 12. The final score of 74-18 sees Richmond prop up the bottom of the table while All-Stars remain in third.

LMS continued their recent good run with a win over CS2. Le Mont Saint got themselves a good start taking a 6 point lead into the second quarter. The two teams cancelled each other in the second and at half time LMS lead by 31-25. CS2 came out strong in the third to bring the scores within 3 but 12 straight points from Mike Beausire put them back in control and with 7 minutes left in the game, LMS looked comfortable leading 51-37. CS2 tried valiantly to get back on terms through Nic Racynski who scored 15 but it was Le Mont Saint who secured the victory eventually winning by 65-48. Mike Beausire top scored for the victors with 14 while James Tracey added 13 in an off shooting night.

The Learning company put in a solid first half performance to beat a spirited CIA side in Friday's Division III contest. TLC spread the scoring around as they dominated the early exchanges to lead at the end of the first quarter by 17-2. CIA All-Stars faired better in the second quarter but the half time score of 25-8 realistically put the game out of their reach The second half was littered with mistakes and missed shots as neither side seemed capable of buying a basket. The third quarter score of 3-0 in favour of TLC told the story. All-Stars rallied in the fourth and took the quarter by 10-6 but it was never enough as TLC's good first half meant they secured victory by 34-18.

Martel Dunn 55 v Bachmann 39

It was another story of two halves as Martel Dunn did the early damage against Bachmann in their division III encounter. Ali Keiller and Kate Roberts made basket after basket as they scored a mammoth 28 points in the first quarter. It would not have been so bad but for the fact that Bachmann managed only 2 points, ending the game as a contest with three quarters to go! Bachmann came out determined in the 2nd quarter, no-one more so than Sally Leadbeater who scored twelve of her 14 points in a 6 minute spell to close the gap to 38-21 at the half. Bachmann eventually won the second half by 18-17 but Martel Dunn had won the game by 55-39 thanks to Kate Robert with 17 and Ali Keiller with 16. Wendy Van Katwyck added 13 for the losing Bachmann team.

Collins Stewart 87 v Under 21 Men 54
